May Recap - Hyperliquid Hit the MEX, and the HYPE Was Real!

May was all about pushing boundaries - both in innovation and community energy. The highlight? Hyperliquid, our most advanced DEX integration yet. But that was just the beginning. We launched Hype Week, unlocked new Earn opportunities, expanded our token list, levelled up our governance, and brought the Dream Fund to its top 300 phase. Here’s everything that happened in May at SwissBorg.

MEX Expansion: Welcome Hyperliquid

In May, during a live announcement event, we welcomed Hyperliquid, a high-performance network and decentralised exchange (DEX), to the Meta-Exchange (MEX).

This was a significant milestone - bringing Hyperliquid’s order book liquidity, lightning-fast execution, and native assets like $HYPE into the SwissBorg app.

SwissBorg is now the first EU-regulated platform to offer direct fiat-to-Hyperliquid trading. You can go from EUR, GBP, CHF (or any of our other 16 fiats) - or any supported crypto - straight to $HYPE in a single tap. No bridges. No gas fees. No extra wallets.

Our token universe keeps expanding. In May, we added 13 new tokens to the SwissBorg app:

Three new trading vaults went live this month: $AAVE, $NEAR, and $HYPE.

Alpha Early Deals

May saw the debut of a new Community HUB for $VNX with a unique “protected floor” investment strategy from our colleagues at BorgPad.

The deal was a classic SwissBorg Alpha, but engineered with downside protection to dramatically reduce the potential for investor loss. As you might expect, it sold out in under two hours.

Dream Fund: Final 300 Announced

The Dream Fund reached its next big milestone and the final 300 dreamers were announced live on Instagram by Cyrus.

To keep the dream alive, we even added ten special entries that the community couldn’t let go. The finalists now move forward in the competition, with more amazing content and voting phases ahead.

Governance & Community

BORG Assembly Vote

After BORG Assembly #6, the community voted to develop Earn strategies with the option to receive their yield in BORG - a big win for those who want to grow their governance power and stack more BORG passively.

BORG Buyback Update

Our Q1 Buyback continued with the announcement of over 1.4m BORG added to the pool.

One of the most requested features from the BORG Referendum has gone live: Community Token Curation. The multi-step process allows our community to:
