Community Token Curation: You Nominate. You Vote. We Add.

In our mission to build a more open, transparent, and community-driven crypto platform, we’re proud to launch the SwissBorg Community Token Curation programme - a new way to get the projects you love supported on the SwissBorg app.

This is your chance to shape the SwissBorg Marketplace. Together, we’re putting the power directly into the hands of the people. For proposed projects, you could be in line for a FREE listing on one of Europe’s leading crypto platforms. All it could take to be added to the SwissBorg app is support from you and engagement from your community!

But remember - only $BORG stakers can vote each month to decide which token gets added!

How It Works: Four Simple Stages

1. Community Nominates Tokens

It all starts with nominations. You’re invited to submit up to five tokens you believe deserve a place in the SwissBorg app. In this first iteration submissions are made via a simple form - and should reflect the projects you’re passionate about, deeply understand, and want to see succeed.

2. Community Upvotes Projects

After initial eligibility checks, all qualified submissions are published on our Community Upvote Page - a public space where you can rally support and upvote your favourite tokens.

For the first session, this will open Monday 19th May and run until 1800 CEST on Friday 30th.

Tokens are clearly labelled:

💪 Possible to Add: Eligible now and able to be upvoted for the final in-app vote
🤞 Future Potential: Not currently listable, but upvotes help indicate community interest

Later, we’ll also add:

🚀 Supported 📲: Tokens successfully added through this process
🗳️ Vote Open NOW in SwissBorg App: Finalist tokens open for in-app voting

Each month, it’s time to activate the power of the community - the more upvotes, the stronger the signal of support, both for now and the future.

3. Final Check & Shortlisting

The most upvoted tokens each month will undergo a final due diligence process to evaluate listing suitability. This includes factors like liquidity, smart contract quality, legal status, and compliance with SwissBorg standards.

Those that pass move forward to the final stage - the in-app SwissBorg Governance Vote.

4. BORG Stakers Vote for the Winner

The final step? Borgers vote!

We’ll open an in-app governance vote for $BORG stakers. The first vote opens the week commencing 9th June, and lasts for 7 days. Just like with Guardians votes, BORG stakers will have 100 voting power points to distribute among the nominated tokens. If you want to support more than one token, you’ll be able to split your power accordingly. The winning token will be added to the SwissBorg app – for free

✅ To vote, you must stake a minimum of 10 BORG in the SwissBorg app. ✅ Everyone is welcome to stake BORG and vote! SwissBorg users, project communities, and curious newcomers.

This is true decentralised curation - powered by the people.

Why It Matters

This initiative is more than just a listing campaign. It’s about unlocking community-led innovation and giving a voice to the next wave of great crypto projects.

We’re giving projects a chance to:

📈 Reach over 870,000 verified users
🌍 Benefit from SwissBorg’s class-leading fiat on/off-ramps and MEX Smart Engine for optimal execution, and intuitive user experience
📲 Be part of a trusted, licensed and regulated platform with nearly $2bn in user AUM

Projects are encouraged to mobilise their supporters, spread the word, and get their token into the spotlight. We’ll even engage directly with high-potential projects to help them get involved.

Fast-Tracking & Future Potential

Not all tokens can be added immediately - but that doesn’t mean your submission won’t have an impact.

High-interest tokens may be fast-tracked for review and listing. Others, that can’t be added right now, may become valuable indicators for:

📊 Future trends
🌱 Promising upcoming TGEs
🔄 Meta-Exchange (MEX) expansion opportunities

So even if a token isn’t eligible right now (e.g. not yet supported on a connected DEX or CEX, or custodian), upvotes still show strong community interest and can help direct our technical roadmap.

FAQs

Q: I nominated token X. Why isn’t it on the upvote page?

A: We’ve included the most popularly nominated tokens from the initial phase. Not all are immediately eligible for upvoting. This could be due to technical, regulatory, or liquidity-related reasons. That said, we’re keeping a record of every single community nomination and are committed to regularly expanding the list. So keep those nominations for new tokens coming - your voice counts!

You might also see some tokens labelled as “Future Potential” on the upvote site. This means the token isn’t quite ready for support yet, but we still welcome your excitement and encouragement for those projects!
