We’re pleased to announce a forthcoming upgrade to our Crypto Bundles. Following the integration of Jito Staked SOL (JitoSOL) in place of SOL, we will begin replacing AVAX with Hypha Staked AVAX (STAVAX) across select Bundles.
This enhancement is designed to improve the long-term value of our Bundles by generating passive yield (currently around 6% APY) on AVAX allocations - without requiring any additional effort from users.
What is Hypha Staked AVAX?
Hypha Staked AVAX (STAVAX), formerly known as ggAVAX, is a liquid staking token built on the Avalanche network by the Hypha team (previously GoGoPool). When DeFi users stake AVAX through Hypha, they receive STAVAX in return, which represents their staked position while continuing to earn rewards.
STAVAX allows holders to:
- Benefit from Avalanche staking yields
- Participate in a decentralised and permissionless staking ecosystem
What This Means for SwissBorg Community
By replacing AVAX with STAVAX in our Crypto Bundles, we are enabling users to gain exposure to Avalanche while also generating passive income. This change aligns with our strategy of combining diversification with capital efficiency, offering users the opportunity to grow their portfolio through both market performance and yield.
Depending on its performance and allocation, the yield delivered by stAVAX - like JitoSOL - could reduce or even offset your monthly Bundle fees. However you look at it, it’s a significant upgrade!
You will see STAVAX in the Gaming Bundle soon, and potentially in future updates to other Bundles like Top Borgers, Best Blockchains or Crypto Stars.
