What is Occam?

Occam Finance, represented by the token OCC, is a part of a growing crypto-financial suite designed specifically for the Cardano blockchain. It aims to be a comprehensive DeFi ecosystem on Cardano, leveraging the advantages of decentralisation and transparency while adhering to regulatory standards. The primary function of OccamFi is to facilitate capital raising through an Initial Decentralised Offering (IDO). The OCC token, with a circulating supply of 15,217,681, is central to participating in IDOs via OccamRazer and also serves as a governance token for Occam Finance. The protocol initially used Solidity smart contracts but plans to transition to Plutus. Occam Finance was established by a team based in Crypto Valley, Zug, with Mark Berger as the president of the Occam Association. The platform is divided into three main components: OccamRazer, OccamX, and OccamDAO, each serving a unique purpose in the ecosystem.
